This journey shall be my tribute to Steve Jobs

“You’ve got to find what you love [ … ] If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.” ~ Steve Jobs”

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” ~ Steve Jobs

Those are some of my most favorite Steve Jobs quotes.

I have been nurturing the idea of SWBT (Single Woman Budget Traveller) for over 3-4 months now. But I have been holding myself back because I wasn’t sure of myself, was scared to follow my heart. It was only this week that I created this blog and decided to take it forward but I was still not one hundred percent sure.

Last night I was standing at the precipice with my eyes closed still contemplating whether to jump or not, when I found out at around 4.45 am that Steve Jobs is no more. As I spent the next few hours reading about the life and times of this inspirational figure and those above quotes by him, I knew I have found my sign. I am now ready to have faith in my heart and jump.

He said follow your heart, and so shall I do from this moment on.

This journey, this idea, whether great or not, I would not let it go because this is what I love – to travel, write, photograph and to explore.

To quote the great visionary to whom I owe the strength to take the final step…

Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Think Different

Here’s to me.

  1. And as encouraging as it sounds, its the sheer ecstasy of plunging into risk that is more of a motivation. Its like saying to oneself
“C’m’on, what’s the worst that can devour me? My Lust, Unseen Insanity or Inexperient Death?? Huh!”

Wish you a Great Journey and even more Fruitful Experiment!

I will probably call you and get some new material to blog about :D Just in case it adds to your Fame :D
